Swimming help kids to overcome the challenges they face in learning tough subjects such as mathematics. At Apple Tree – The World School we have designed dedicated splash pool as well as swimming pool for children keeping their safety in mind.

Research shows that kids who play outdoors in the grass, mud, or dirt have healthier immune systems than kids that are constantly in sterile, indoor environments. Playing in the mud can actually boost their immunity. Mud play allows children to connect and interact with the natural world around them. It helps children develop tactile skills with sensory play. At Apple Tree – The World School we have dedicated mud play area for children to explore their creativity.

Being a parent often reminds you of your parents, the patience they had in bearing your craziness, the love, care and attention they showered in bringing you up. You might be aiming to offer more to your kids than you personally got. There could be issues in our life, that bother us most of the time. But being a parent, it is our duty to allot much time to the needs of our children.

Through our one-to-one mentoring sessions with parents, we make continuous efforts to solve common issues with the children be it their behaviour, learning difficulties or any other problem.

Parent counselling aids parents to recognize their child’s strengths and abilities, and help them overcome their shortcomings. Parents are guided according to the best possible and practical way. Parents are welcome to meet the counsellors anytimein the year in person during the Parent Teachers’ meet or with appointment to discuss targeted issues that they face with their children.

Besides academic counselling, due emphasis is laid on personal counselling to support the emotional health of our students. Apple Tree – The World School’s Counselling team comprises Counsellors who cater to the well-being of students in our school setting. The Counsellors act as facilitators, and parents are encouraged to speak their mind, and let out their feelings and emotions without interruption. This helps parents introspect, which enables the Counsellor to guide them to handle the matter on their own. However, personal guidance is provided whenever required. Parents are helped to identify their learning styles and further guided if they need additional support from teachers or specialists.
